We are beyond excited to open auditions for Ride the Cyclone (Teen Edition) at MPM Studio Theater.
This is a high school performance intensive workshop with a limited cast size, and we are looking for actors ready to bring bold character choices, strong storytelling, and commitment to the process.

About the Show:
Ride the Cyclone (Teen Edition) is a dark comedy about six teenagers from a choir who die in a roller coaster accident and find themselves in a strange limbo. There, a mechanical fortune teller, The Amazing Karnak, offers one of them the chance to return to life. Each teen shares their story through songs and confessions, revealing dreams, regrets, and identity. As they compete for a second chance, the show explores what makes a life meaningful, blending humor, heart, and unexpected moments. This is a highly character-driven production that challenges actors to make bold, specific choices while balancing comedy, vulnerability, and storytelling.
Please Note: As the Teen Edition, this version has been adapted for teen performers, with content adjusted appropriately. The show includes some mature themes and moments of suggestive humor, presented in a thoughtful and age-appropriate way.
Important:
• Ages 14+ (by 09/01/2026)
• Prepare a 60–90 second monologue
• Prepare a verse and a chorus (a cappella, in the style of the show, not from the show)
